I feel like it's that moment when you know you are standing still on the ground but you feel you are watching the foreground race across you. When you never to expect something to happen when it happens or how it happens but,it does and you get that eternal "What the hell?" moment. LOL But,that's just me. ;)

I think surrealism are your dreams that you put down on paper paint or draw

I agree, surrealism is so much like a dream, its incredible. The  est part is just looking at a piece for hours and see so many different things in it. In some cases, you can make up a story within.

Surrealist art is much like a dream- a vision of something enigmatic but yet these strange events, encounters, artifacts all symbolize the unconscious mind and the processing of our experiences and thoughts with personal and archtypal symbols. In this same way surrealism uses symbolism or enigmatic imagry to create metaphor or express personal experience.

With an airbrush, and black stain oil based paint - you can get instant surrealistic approaches.
